Results - How the work

Results for each Tour of Colorado race will be on this page. In addition, Tour of Colorado overall results will be here. Results will take several days except for the final overall. Please carefully read the following:

Overall Results

Sand Creek Sports, Inc. will keep track of race results for the following five (5) classes/categories only.

1.Pro, 1, 2
2.SR MW 1, 2
3.JR Men 17-18
4.SR Men 3 5.SR Men 35+

Overall Points

1. Points from each race will be given and no race will be discounted.

2. The rider with the most points “wins” and no race is discounted from a riders total. Ties in the final overall points will be determined be the number of highest placings at Tour of Colorado races.

3. To be eligible for final overall results, riders must enter and start the final race.

a. Should a rider fail to enter and start the final race, that rider will not be listed in Tour of Colorado final overall results.
b. No exceptions

4. Only results as submitted to the Tour of Colorado by the individual Tour of Colorado race organizers will be used. Those are the official results and will not be changed be an “appeal” by a rider, etc., to the Tour of Colorado.

How the Points Work

The point table below shows the points.

The two single day races, the Sunshine Hill Climb and the North Boulder Park Criterium each receive the same point value based on results.

The three omniums/stage races, Iron Horse (omnium), Salida (omnium), and The Santa Fe Trail Stage Race (stage race), receive the same points based only on overall results.

The two multi-day non-omnium/stage races, the Fort Collins Cycling Festival and Gateway Canyons, will end up receiving the same points as the omniums/stage races. To get those same points, points will be added up from the table shown for individual races to get an “overall/final GC” result list. Then, those points “go away” and the GC/Overall points are applied. Those points are the same value as for the three omniums/stage races.
