The 36th Iron Horse Bicycle Classic in Durango is fast approaching its entry limit! Please go to the Tour of Colorado Schedule page and click on the race link to register ASAP. And, talking about registration, the Salida Omnium will be the State Games of The West! Registration information is available on their web site as well.

Update March 12, 2008

The Tour of Colorado will be a Series of seven existing Colorado races several of which are Colorado State Championships for both USA Cycling and the American Cycling Association! The schedule is now here. Additional updates very soon!

Update January 26, 2008

All six Colorado races contacted have now confirmed participation in a Tour of Colorado Series! There is still work to be done prior to our first press release and Tour of Colorado schedule. All races are existing 2-3 day events throughout Colorado. Five categories will be featured.

Update January 8, 2008

Sand Creek Sports, Inc. is currently having discussions with six 2-3 day Colorado races from throughout Colorado about doing a Tour of Colorado Series. While details are being worked on, these six races have expressed a willingness to talk. These races would be free to choose whatever permitting body they wish.

Nothing is firm and no contracts have been signed and everything is still in draft form. Overall points would be kept for five categories based on overall race results from each event.
